My precious girl is nine months old...just a few months shy of being a toddler. I cannot believe that time is going to fast. Ann Parker has really seemed to grow this past month. Shortly after she turned 9 months, she started to crawl. She is everywhere now. She doesn't crawl normally though, she only bear crawls. It is hysterical. She wants to be on her feet all the time. She pulls up on anything and everything. She is a girl on the move! She has also started holding her own bottle some of the time!! It really helps mommy out! She has two bottom teeth and has been drooling a lot again so I'm guessing top teeth will soon follow!
She can wave and clap and reach for someone. She is quite the little talker these days. She makes the "mamamama" "dadadada" and "babbababa" sounds. Lots of babble, but hasn't said her official first word yet. I'm sure that it will happen soon at the rate she's been talking! She loves mommy and daddy, but Caroline is still her favorite. Caroline loves her just as much.
Other than Ritz crackers, saltines, and MumMums, Ann Parker isn't too jazzed up about table foods. She eats almost all baby food and milk. Her favorite foods are oatmeal, carrots, pears, and bananas. She is taking about 6-7 oz. at each feeding, still eating 5 times a day - usually about 3.5 hours apart. She wears a size 2 diaper and anywhere from 3 mo. clothes to 12 mo. clothes, depending on the brand but most of her stuff is 9 mo. She sleeps from 7:15 to 7:00, usually only getting up during the night once a week, if that. She really is a great sleeper!!
She is still addicted to her paci, but I am trying to give it to her less and less. Maybe she will decide she is done with it by herself? I'm guessing not....
She loves bath time, swings, being outside, dancing with mommy or daddy, music, johnny jump, exersaucer, all of Caroline's toys, little people farm, rattles, balls, wagon rides, remote controls, iPad, cell phones, and dog bowls. She likes watching shows with Caroline like Doc McStuffins and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We are on a family wide mission to watch less tv though, so she doesn't get to watch too much.
She is so laid back and happy. She usually only cries when she is tired or hungry. She gives the best hugs and kisses and we just love having her in our family!!
Happy 9 month birthday little girl. We love you to the moon and back. I am so honored to call you mine. I love watching you learn and grow and cannot wait to see what lies ahead. Love you!
