On the day you turned five...

Caroline Grace,

On Saturday, May 23, 2015 you turned FIVE.  Holy cow!!  Five seems so big to me.  It was only a short time ago that you were just a tiny little thing and now you are headed to big school and you have a life of your own.  It's so wonderful to see.  You are an amazing little girl and I loved spending this day with you!!

It was your dance recital day!!  We woke up early and got ready to head to the BJCC.  You were seriously the best one up on stage!

Mommy, Ann Parker, Harrison, Mimi, Papa, and Kiki came to watch you.  After the recital we went to Chuy's.  Chips and cheese are your favorite meal!

Then we headed to McWane!!  We went to the new Itty Bitty Magic City exhibit for a bit.

We ended the day at Frozen on Ice!!  It was a blast!!  You loved every second !

It was a great day!!  Happy happy birthday sweet girl!

More posts to come!

Dance Recital 2015

Caroline danced in her second dance recital on her birthday!  Once again she has been dancing at Birmingham Dance Theater and has had a wonderful year.  She was in a ballet and tap combo class and did a tap routine to "Someday I will be Miss America."  It was precious and she was honestly the best one.  I couldn't be more proud of this sweet little dancer girl.  We are already excited about dance again next year - and excited that AP will also be dancing!!

Nine Months Old!!!

Nine Months Old - May 26, 2015

Our sweet boy is now nine months old - toddlerhood is just around the corner!!  It's crazy how each month seems to go by faster and faster!!  This month Harrison started crawling, really crawling.  He can get anywhere he wants to go.  He started pulling up to his feet but thankfully hasn't done it in his crib yet.  Still, we will lower the crib this weekend.

He has been sleeping better.  He goes down usually about 9 and will wake up once, maybe twice.  It sounds horrible to be waking up that much at nine months but compared to a few months ago this is a dream come true.  He just isn't a great sleeper....but we still love him.  He has, however, turned into a great eater.  He loves sweet potato, quinoa, blueberry, plum, banana, white beans, pumpkin, brown rice cereal, oatmeal with cinnamon, and several other things.

He is wearing mostly size 12 month clothes and is still in a size 2 diaper.  He will go for his 9 month check up soon so I will post stats then.  He loves swimming and bath time, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, putting everything in his mouth, being outside, mommy, finding all the things we don't want him to play with, cars, and balls. He hates his car seat, not being near mommy, and getting his diaper changed.

Happy nine months sweet boy!!  We love you so incredibly much!!
