Strollers...no stroll in the park

Adam and I have been looking at strollers for the baby the past few weeks. We have found several that we like and several that we don't like - but we had no idea there were so many to choose from!! We "test drove" about a million and still don't know what to do!! We really like the BOB - a great running stroller that also works as an everyday stroller.

We're also fans of the Peg-Perego stroller...which has the highest safety rating but has the heaviest pumpkin seat and being that I'm not a very strong person when it comes to my upper body, that could be a problem.

We have also looked at the Chicco and the Bugaboo...also great options!! This is NOT as easy as I thought it was going to be!! Any suggestions???

I love the BOB and the Peg Perago, but if you get a Graco, their pumpkin seats aren't as heavy and their "extras" aren't as expensive...like another base for a separate car, or things like that (for your mom's car or Adam's)...also w/ the Chico/Graco, etc, you are more likely to find those "extras" at a consignments sale...I would get an everyday one and look for a jogging on at the Lil Lambs sale-- it's already posted on the church website-- have you started training for it? It is a big decision and it is confusing with so many options...we have a Graco and I love the cup holders when we are in the mall and the snack tray-- Hudson is almost 3 and we still use it....

Hello. After receiving Adam's email I immediately surfed over to check out your blog. I am so glad to have another blog to stalk! Congratulations on your pregnancy. Forty weeks flies by - seriously - so enjoy it as much as possible.

As for strollers, we went with the Peg Perego SI stroller and a Peg Perego carseat and have been very happy. The SI is extremely sleek and light, holds the Peg carseat, and converts to a top of the line umbrella stroller with ease. We figured that we would need an umbrella stroller in the future and that we would buy a running/jogging stroller as well (as soon as the baby is big enough to sit in one) and, thus, didn't want to also buy a "heavy" stroller for use with an infant seat when we could just knock it all out with two strollers. As I said before, we have been very happy. You should google the Peg SI stroller and consider it.

Sorry for the long comment! Again, congrats!
