So Thankful

The Israel family had a wonderful thanksgiving this year!  We spent a couple of days with my family eating, relaxing, and laughing before heading home to decorate for Christmas.  We have so much to be thankful for - too much to list so I will leave you with a picture of what I am most thankful for.

Thanksgiving Snack

The Friday before Thanksgiving, Caroline's PDO program had their "Thanksgiving Snack."  They invite the parents to come and see all the kiddos in their shirts eating a fun snack.  It is such a cute event!

Picking out the M&M's...no surprise there.

A Special Sunday

On Sunday, November 11th at 8:45 Ann Parker was baptized at Trinity United Methodist Church.  She wore the same precious gown that her sister wore.

Ann Parker was the only baby getting baptized in that service.  We took Caroline up with us so she could see.  Both girls were angels!!  Ann Parker did not cry (which I was worried about) and Caroline did not try to run away (which I was VERY worried about).  Dr. Wolfe did an amazing job!!

Ann Parker fell asleep right after the baptism, so we choose not to wake her up to take pictures.  Afterwards, we had our family to our house for brunch to celebrate.  I made (almost) all the food myself and it all went over well, so I am pretty proud :)

We had a wonderful time!!  We are so blessed to have Ann Parker in our family!

Heaven Sent

Disney on Ice

We took the girls to see Disney on Ice last Sunday.  Oh.my.gosh.we.loved.it.  I wasn't sure if it would hold C's attention, but boy it did.  Ann Parker was also enthralled.  It comes to Birmingham every year and I already cannot wait to go back.  Caroline feels the same way - we didn't tell her what we were doing we just said it was a surprise.  Every morning she asks to go to "my surprise please."

It's hard to tell in this picture, but C is wearing a dress with Snow White on it and AP has an apple applique on hers...Snow White and the apple - how clever am I??

We went with some sweet friends.  Little Miss L loved it as much as my girls!

C loved all the princesses and Lion King, but her heart still belongs to these guys!

Bowling

Last Friday I decided that we should take Caroline bowling.  It was her first time.  I wasn't sure how well she would do, but she actually did great!  She wanted every turn to be hers, so we did have a few meltdowns but other than that we had a great time.

Yes, Caroline beat me...and I was actually trying to hit pins.  She got to use this ramp thing on the last two frames, so I'm sure that's why :) Seriously though - bowling is hard.

We loved our matching shoes!

Halloween Fun!

We had such a wonderful Halloween this year!  This was the first year that Caroline was really into it - and it was Ann Parker's first so it was special all around.  We had a wonderful time at our Mama&Me Halloween party the day before Halloween.  It was a perfect excuse to get an extra wear out of their precious costumes.

Such a cold day!!  Luckily we had this little bear suit to keep her warm :)

Precious Pumpkin gets right to playing with her friends.

Mommy with her two sweet girls!

Of course she found the Mickey to play with.

After the party we headed to the McWane Center to check out the new Clifford exhibit.  Not Halloweeny, but still fun.

Caroline had her class party the next day.  She was sporting her super cute spider shirt.

She has a wonderful class with some sweet friends
Another cold day so we bundled her up.  Somehow she got called a boy twice this day and I cannot figure that out.  Do people dress boys in head to toe pink??

C and two of her favorite class friends.  They apparently do this all day long.  And I wonder why her clothes get torn up all the time??

Ready to hit the streets!

Proudly making her way to each house!

Caroline LOVED trick or treating!!  It took her a few houses to get the hang of it.  She kept wanting to go into the houses.  After she figured out that you get candy she was all over it.  Ann Parker spent the evening bundled up in the stroller.  I can't wait until next year - I will have two running around!! (and getting me candy to eat)
