Life lately...

It's been a hot summer...and we have been busy, busy, busy! Trying to get settled (a never ending process), being 30 weeks pregnant, and having two kids at home full time for the summer has started taking a toll on me and I spend most of my days exhausted.  I wake feeling like I need to rest :( BUT the end of this pregnancy is near and we are really enjoying doing projects in our new home and spending this last summer as a family of four so things could be worse.

The girls are so fun! I am just loving the ages they are at right now.  They love each other so much and I love spending my days with them.  They will often say, "I love you" to each other unprompted and I find them holding hands a lot - even sitting in the car. I wonder how things will be once their little bro arrives.

Caroline started gymnastics a couple of weeks ago and is loving it. It's right up her alley.  I had intended to let her choose gymnastics or ballet for the fall, but c wants to do both and daddy wants her to do both (he is quite the overachiever and I have a feeling she will be too).

Here are some pictures of what we have been doing lately...

Working on their girly big girl room.  Lots of pink!

Working on the den.

Going to gymnastics.

Having lazy weekends sleeping in with daddy...Adam may kill me for posting these.  And just to be clear...he has shorts on.

"Watching" the barons game from the Balch box seats.  AP wasn't that impressed...I, on the other hand, feel like I was made to watch all sports from box seats ;)

Catching bubbles

Being wild and crazy in the playroom...this is how she watched TV one day.

Splash pad at the zoo

Eating lots and lots of frozen yogurt, ice cream, and popsicles.

Celebrating the 4th of July!  We had a wonderful 4th.  We had a red, white, and blue breakfast of blueberry muffins and strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.  Then we had a lazy day that involved napping on the couch, painting our toenails (just the girls), grilling burgers for lunch, and spending time just the four of us.  We went to a party that afternoon and had delicious BBQ before meeting Andy and Brandi and the boys at the Club for fireworks. AP decided half way through the fireworks that she was ready for bed so she lasted down and went to sleep.  I am not sure how she managed to sleep through the noise!

Turning 30 weeks pregnant!

Having a breakfast play date with some of our favorite friends!
