Harrison's Baptism

Today, on March 8 2015 at the 11:00 service at Trinity United Methodist Church, our precious son Harrison Kent Israel was baptized.  Adam's parents, his grandmother (Mama Lou), my sister and her fiance, and our little family were all there.  It was an extra special day because he was baptized in the same service as the daughter of some of our friends, Al and Lauren.

After the service, we came back to our house and had lunch and got to spend some time visiting as a family.  It was a day filled with blessings and one that I will never forget.  He did cry when they put the water on his head, but she calmed down quickly once Rev. Suzanne had him and they began the walk around the sanctuary.

We are so blessed with this little boy and we loved getting to celebrate him today!  We used our fine china and ate in our dining room - this is the first time we have eaten in there since moving in to our new house.  I can't think of a better reason than this to finally use our nice things!  Although, let's be honest here...I used our china and we ate in the dining room - but I didn't use our crystal or set the table with chargers and nice linens...it was a hectic weekend but I tried to make it as nice as I could!!

My two men...Harrison is obviously thrilled about wearing a bonnet.

Adam sure does love his boy.

Friends for 12 years.  So special to share this day with them!

Of course the mama's did not get any pictures together - typical moms and we were busy trying to make sure everything was picture perfect!!
