Adam attended the ADLA annual meeting in Sandestin, FL this year and we got to tag along. We spent a few days at the beach enjoying the sun, sand, lots of seafood, NOT unpacking and doing laundry, taking afternoon naps, and enjoying being together. We stayed at Baytowne Wharf in the Market Street Inn and we LOVED it. There were so many things for the girls to do! I cannot wait for our next beach trip!

Caroline's McWane Fourth Birthday Party
We celebrated Caroline's fourth birthday with a party at McWane. It was the easiest party ever. Caroline chose who to invite and what to do at the party. They offered several program options, but she didn't want any. She strictly wanted to "eat cake and then play." Done and done!! McWane handled everything. We showed up, ate, played, and then left. Caroline loved every second of the party. She has been asking for a McWane party since before she turned THREE so I was happy to finally oblige.
Happy Happy 4th Birthday beautiful girl!! We love you more than you will ever know. You are so smart and funny and have the kindest heart. You love your sister and your friends so much. You give the best hugs and kisses. You make me smile every day and I adore you. Being your mommy is my favorite thing!

Done Deal!
On May 27th, Adam and I became the new owners of a beautiful new house. We are still in the middle of a million projects and have a trillion boxes to unpack, but we have a HOME so it's all okay!
Dance Recital!!!
Our precious Caroline had her very first dance recital on May 24th. She has been taking dance all school year at BDT and had Ms. Lacie as her teacher. We adore Ms. Lacie! Caroline truly loved going to class each week and we cannot wait for next year. Ann Parker is going to be taking in the fall as well!
BDT separates their recital into three different shows. Caroline was in the "Baby I'm a Star" show, which is for the 2-5 kids. All the numbers were adorable, but Caroline's class was the best. I am not saying that because I am biased either...her class was objectively the best :) She did the entire dance and even smiled during the show. She is a natural!
Getting ready to head to the BJCC. They stopped for a quick pose with Asher, their little stud of a cousin.
I only snapped a couple of pics, but we weren't allowed to use flash and I wasn't too concerned with the camera settings. I purchased the professional video so my pictures didn't matter too much!
After all the dances, each class took a bow and received flowers. They stood there for a second and then walked off so the next class could take their bows. Caroline decided to disco dance during the bows. It was hysterical. She is not afraid of the stage, that's for sure.
I had several more pictures on my camera, but they seem to have gotten deleted...or moved. Either way, I cannot find some pictures. Here is what I do have.
I couldn't be more proud of this little girl if I tried. She is so brave and talented and it made me so happy to see my girl on stage! She is a beautiful ballerina!!

Catch Up Time!
It's been a while and I've been neglecting my blog... Moving has been a pain and blogging took a back seat but there are plenty of things I will want to remember so I am going to play some catch up here! I have several new posts coming too - so stay tuned!
Last time I blogged, we had just found out that we are going to have a baby BOY!! We are still in shock but are very excited about our newest addition. The day that we found out was a big day for us - we also closed on our first home. It was a bittersweet thing, but I was glad to have it sold and I really think the new family living there will enjoy it. That night I went out to celebrate the new baby/house closing by having dinner with some of my best friends. I cannot even begin to express how thankful I am that I found this group of friends!
C's class had a fun end of year party scheduled for the park...unfortunately it rained so they spent the day playing in the gym. This is her (second) teacher of the year, Ms. J. Caroline loved her!
Caroline turned FOUR on Friday, May 23rd. I had intended to document the day as I have done each year, but this year was a little different. She had her dance dress rehearsal that morning and then we all came home to nap and rest before dinner. She got a new big girl bike and had waffles (her fav) early...but then we enjoyed a low key day.

Caroline's class had Muffins with Mom the Friday before Mother's Day. I was so happy to have a special morning with my big girl!

Adam and I have taken the girls to The Club for their birthday each year. It's a fun little tradition that we love. It's just a special time for us to celebrate them with our little family. Since we were staying with Adam's brother during that time, we invited Brandi and the kids to join us. It was wild and crazy, but we were happy to have family celebrate with us!
More to come!

So behind...
I am behind on blogging, in part to being displaced at the moment. We are currently living in the basement of my brother and sister in law. Not ideal, but our best option. I have AP's 24 month post, muffins with mom, and C's choir show to blog about but I cannot find the USB cord to my camera so that will have to wait. Instead, I leave you with these three adorable pictures of our beautiful, funny, smart, and sweet daughters and our precious SON ( still in shock that we are having a boy!).

It's a BOY!!!!!!
We are so excied...and surprised... To announce that we are having a baby BOY!
Pretty hard to deny it!
This morning we were getting ready to go to our appointment and I had second thoughts about finding out the gender. If they said girl, the possibility of ever having a son went away today. If they said boy, I would not get to use the name Katherine (my sisters name). When the ultrasound tech asked if she could tell the gender, I said I wasn't sure. When we finally said yes, she asked us to turn our heads and when she let us look the picture above is what we saw!
I FREAKED out. I was so positive it was a girl. I am beyond excited and cannot wait to see all the fun things that having a little boy brings. It's safe to say we have nothing for a boy at our house. We don't even have gender neutral. After two girls we are totally in the land of all things pink, ruffles, glitter, and princesses. It's time to start thinking about trains and whatever else boys like...I really have no idea but I am thrilled to find out!
We are feeling mighty blessed to have two beautiful girls AND a sweet baby boy on the way!
